Presently, all the licenses including Internet Service Provider (ISP) Licenses for category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ are being issued under Unified License. Non Refundable Processing Fee for ISP License in India
- (b) For ISP Category ‘A’= Rs. 50,000 for All India
- (c) For ISP Category ‘B’= Rs. 15,000 per service area
- (d) For ISP Category ‘C’=Rs. 10,000 per service area
Required documents for ISP License in India
- Application Forms in prescribed format
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Articles of Association (AOA) and Memorandum of Association (MOA)
- Processing Fee (Non Refundable)
- Original Power of Attorney by resolution of board of Directors
- List of Promoters/Partners/shareholder in the company
- Equity certificate
- Certified copy of approval of Govt of India for Foreign Equity (Applicable only if FDI>49%)
- CA appointment Letter with specimen signature of CA
Under the Unified License, there are three Categories of authorizations for Internet Services namely Category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’. The details are available in the UL Guidelines on DoT website under the Caption ‘Unified License’. The Entry conditions are as below:-

Eligibility for ISP License in India :-
In order to obtain ISP license in India the Applicant must be an Indian company, registered under the companies Act, 1956/2013 (as applicable)
And the Applicant Company/Indian Promoters /investing companies including their holding companies shall comply with relevant provisions of extant FDI policy of the Government of India.
