DOT OSP Registration /License in India
Applications Services means providing services like Call Center BPO, KPO, Contact Center, e-commerce,network operation centre and other IT Enabled Services, by using Telecom Resources provided by Authorised Telecom Service Providers.
General Conditions
(1) Registration may be granted to any company to provide Application Services. These service providers will not infringe on the jurisdiction of other Authorised Telecom Service Providers and they will not provide switched telephony.
(2) Following shall apply to the OSP requiring registration:
(i) The entities entitled for OSP registration must be a company registered under Indian Companies Act,1956
(ii) A Company may apply for registration to the Authority in the proforma prescribed by the Authority from time to time. (List of authorities annexured to the Application
Form).
OSP Registration/License Requirements
To obtain a OSP Registration in India, it is mandatory for the entity to be a Private Limited Company, Limited Company, OPC Company and LLP . Therefore, Entrepreneurs having plans for starting a call center or BPO or e-commerce or other IT Enabled Services must incorporate a Private Limited Company. The following are the documents necessary for OSP Registration in addition to the application in the prescribed format:
- Certificate of Incorporation of PVT. LTD., LTD., LLP., and OP Company
- Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) of PVT. LTD., LTD., LLP., and OPC Company
- Board of Resolution or Power of Attorney authorizing by directors
- Name of Business and Activities Proposed
- Current List of Directors
- Present Shareholding Pattern
- The above documents must be certified with seal by a Company Secretary or Director of the Company or Authorized Statutory Auditor etc.
